Test Engineer - Nederman Innovation Center

Helsingborg

Ab Ph. Nederman & Co

Apply before: 2026-05-20

Do you want to work hands-on with technology and innovation – while contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable industry? Nederman, The Clean Air Company, is now looking for an engaged Test Engineer to join our new, state-of-the-art Innovation Center in Helsingborg.

We are a global leader in sustainable clean air solutions for industrial environments. With us, you will play a key role in developing next-generation products and systems that help industries worldwide reduce emissions and create safer working environments.

About the role

As a Test Engineer, you will be a central part of our Innovation Center, working closely with both local and global development teams. You will have the opportunity to grow into a specialist role and work broadly with testing, measurement, analysis, and development of advanced products and systems.

Unlike many traditional test laboratories, no two tests are the same with us. Every assignment requires a tailored methodology, meaning you will develop new test setups from scratch. Instead of relying on predefined test rigs, you will build each test environment based on the product’s specific requirements and the questions to be answered.

Your responsibilities includes

- Planning, configuring, and performing tests on Nederman’s and competitors’ products
- Producing reports, analyzing results, and identifying improvement opportunities
- Building, developing, and automating test rigs (VFD control, PLC programming, Python scripting)
- Working with test data management, benchmarking, and long-term data storage
- Designing test rigs based on pressure and flow calculations
- Reading and applying standards such as ISO and ASHRAE
- Supporting Innovation Center activities, including customer visits and training

We are looking for someone who has

- Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical environment
- Interest in both hands-on work and engineering theory
- Ability to identify deviations and draw conclusions
- Strong documentation skills (English required)
- Practical workshop skills (lathe, milling, welding, 3D printing)

What we offer

At Nederman, your work makes a real impact by helping industries become cleaner and safer. We offer competitive benefits, professional development, and a modern Innovation Center in Helsingborg.
