Nordfab is hiring 1st Shift Quality Assurance Specialist
hours are 6:45am – 3:15pm
This person’s primary responsibility will be assuring that products meet internal quality standards and assist in maintaining/auditing the Quality & Environmental Standards. The ideal candidate will have:
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is a Plus.
- Must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have Good Attendance.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must be adept in Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, i.e. blueprints.
- Must be organized and be able to Multi-task.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Will be responsible for measuring a variety of fabricated parts with tolerances of +/- 1/8”.
- Will need to initiate corrective actions and work closely with Production and Purchasing to resolve quality issues.
